CASE STUDY
A virtual immersive experience of cave 45 (8th century) presented as a major feature in the Cave Temples of Dunhuang exhibition at the Getty Museum Los Angeles, California. The caves are known as the Mogao (peerless) Grottoes. UNESCO World Heritage Site.
CONTEXT
We were engaged to deliver a technology that could immerse visitors in a virtual experience.
WHAT WE DID
Flannery and associate Roland Feuer introduced the filmmakers to Micloy 3D stereoscopic technology enology which supports projection onto spherical surfaces. The result is a more fully immersive experience.  Flannery also served as stenographer.
IMPACT / RESULTS
This exhibit at the Getty in Los Angeles broke all visitation records to date. The most popular feature in the exhibition was our 3D Immersive Experience.
